What you will do

• Manage the Marshall Technology Center electrical test lab, including staffing, scheduling, and daily operations for a team of approximately 10 employees.
• Lead high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical testing to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with UL, CSA, and internal standards.
• Oversee lab infrastructure, equipment maintenance, and calibration to maintain high technical capabilities.
• Manage annual budgets, capital expenditure proposals, and efficiency improvement targets.
• Maintain the SharePoint-based database for medium-voltage cable performance data and ensure data integrity.
• Support R&D activities, including prototype testing and CV line qualification, while engaging with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience with electrical testing, high-voltage equipment, or related testing environments.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communication skills for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Must be able to work onsite in Marshall, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience in testing electrical components like transformers, inductors, or capacitors.
• Familiarity with UL, CSA, and other testing governance standards.
• Proficiency with LabView, SharePoint, PowerApps, or .NET programming.
• Background in R&D or product qualification environments.
