What you will do

• Drive logic synthesis, floorplanning, placement, routing, and clock construction for complex designs.
• Optimize power, performance, and area to meet rigorous design requirements.
• Collaborate with RTL, DFT, and Architecture teams to ensure successful design execution.
• Work with R&D teams to improve and refine internal design tools and flows.
• Manage signoff closure activities including timing analysis, physical verification, and IR/EM.
• Drive blocks and SoCs through the full tape-out process.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (San Jose, CA or Raleigh, NC).
• BS with 10+ years, MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years of relevant physical design experience.
• Proven track record of driving blocks/SoCs to tape-out.
• Deep knowledge of advanced process nodes and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, TCL, PERL, or Shell.
