TL;DR

Director, Customer Marketing (B2B): Lead a customer marketing team driving adoption, retention, expansion revenue, and advocacy through data-driven campaigns, executive programs, and customer storytelling. Focus on building full-funnel lifecycle strategy, executive engagement programs, and an analytics/experimentation operating model that optimizes KPIs and measurable ROI across the Observability business unit.

Location: USA Remote (Austin, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Reston, Virginia)

What you will do

  • Develop and lead hirify.global’ Observability customer marketing strategy across adoption, retention, and expansion revenue.
  • Own full-funnel customer programs and segmentation to increase product adoption, deepen engagement, and drive measurable revenue impact.
  • Lead executive engagement initiatives (Customer Advisory Boards, CIO roundtables, strategic account experiences) and build executive briefing programs.
  • Run the Expand funnel for the Observability business unit, owning KPI measurement (lead generation, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, funnel velocity, ROI).
  • Leverage AI and marketing automation tools using intent signals, usage data, and predictive modeling to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Manage global budget allocations and partner with Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align messaging and equip teams with customer proof points.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B enterprise marketing experience leading Customer Marketing or Lifecycle Marketing programs.
  • Proven success driving upsell, cross-sell, and expansion revenue through customer lifecycle and advocacy initiatives.
  • Strong experience building and executing executive engagement programs (e.g., Customer Advisory Boards, CIO roundtables, strategic account experiences).
  • Demonstrated leadership managing and developing high-performing marketing teams with a performance and accountability culture.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Marketo); experience with tools such as Gainsight, 6sense, Goldcast, Qualified, Outreach, Zapier, Clay, or Claude is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional written/verbal communication with executive-level influence across a matrixed organization.
