What you will do

• Lead the construction loan draw process across multiple active development projects.
• Maintain and update detailed development and construction budgets in partnership with Project Managers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, lender, and investor requirements, including LIHTC transactions.
• Prepare budget-to-actual analyses, variance reports, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and external accountants on cost certifications and 8609 filings.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to optimize accounting systems and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience within real estate development.
• Significant experience with affordable housing projects and LIHTC transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Yardi (job cost, general ledger, reporting).
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and budget tracking.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
