What you will do

• Own the technical accounting function, including U.S. GAAP research, policy development, and audit-ready documentation.
• Lead core accounting operations end-to-end, including payroll, order-to-cash, and close governance.
• Manage international accounting and tax compliance, including multi-currency consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Build and coach a high-performing accounting team by establishing clear standards and scalable playbooks.
• Drive accounting transformation through process standardization, automation, and responsible AI adoption.
• Strengthen the internal controls environment and lead SOX readiness initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• CPA license required with public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm preferred).
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and translating complex guidance into scalable business applications.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing technical accounting memos and audit deliverables.
• Must be based in the US to fulfill the requirements of this remote role.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and implementing accounting systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, marketplace, or high-growth technology environments.
• Experience with ASC 606, equity-based compensation, and strategic transactions.
• Experience with NetSuite, Numeric, Anrok, or similar accounting and reporting systems.
• Track record of supporting IPO readiness or public-company reporting standards.
