What you will do

• Manage the accounting department, including G/L account reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
• Review journal entries for payroll, accruals, prepaids, and revenue based on IFRS standards.
• Ensure financial and internal controls are functioning and document accounting procedures.
• Assist the Controller with financial statements, operating budgets, forecasts, and cash management.
• Analyze project and client profitability, including monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting and prepare annual property tax statements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Proven experience with month-end closing, financial reporting, and journal entry documentation.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Experience with Business Central system.
