What you will do

• Own OPEX forecasting and budget maintenance, ensuring accuracy across departmental P&Ls.
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate, challenge, and document assumptions driving operating costs.
• Build financial reports and presentations to provide actionable insights for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead the migration of driver-based financial models from spreadsheets to Drivetrain.
• Support strategic initiatives, including fundraising, M&A, and balance sheet/cash flow forecasting.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to streamline workflows and validate financial models.

Requirements

• Experience as a Financial Analyst in a SaaS or startup environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, and retention.
• Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting with disciplined documentation.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools like NetSuite, ThoughtSpot, and Finqore.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Saskatoon or Toronto.
