What you will do

• Collaborate with the M&A and executive team to source and evaluate potential acquisitions.
• Lead professional communications and negotiations with business owners, advisors, and bankers.
• Prepare and analyze financial data, valuation models, and operational models.
• Drive the full M&A lifecycle, including conducting detailed financial, sales, and operational diligence.
• Draft investment memorandums for board approval and develop integration strategies.
• Coordinate diligence processes with internal and external legal, technology, HR, and tax experts.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or Finance from a competitive institution.
• Minimum 4 years of M&A experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or corporate development.
• Expertise in building complex financial models and producing structured analysis.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior executives.
• Strong understanding of technology and a passion for the software industry.
• Must be located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
