Salary: $180,000 – $240,000 (Base) + commission on a 70/30 split

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical sales plans and account strategies.
• Design and architect secure, scalable networking solutions (wired, wireless, security, cloud-managed).
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Develop technical proposals, RFP responses, and detailed solution documentation.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide field feedback and influence product direction.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in systems engineering or pre-sales engineering.
• Strong expertise in switching, routing, wireless, and security technologies.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical workshops and demos.
• Must reside in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.
• Ability to travel up to 50% for customer engagements and POCs.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-managed networking platforms.
• Background in high-density wireless design and optimization.
• Knowledge of automation, scripting, or API-driven networking.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CWNP, or equivalent.
