TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the USA (Remote or Hybrid in New York or Miami)

Salary: $162,500 - $250,000

What you will do

  • Provide risk-principled legal and strategic advice during all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Support complex financial arrangements including crypto custody, lending, and OTC trading.
  • Draft and negotiate complex customer agreements and establish SLAs for retail and institutional customers.
  • Lead regulatory strategy for products spanning payments, broker-dealer operations, and prediction markets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate legal risks and develop creative solutions in a changing regulatory landscape.

Requirements

  • JD degree and membership in a US state bar in good standing.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for lending and payments (e.g., Reg Z, Reg E, money transmitter licensing).
  • Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, and CFTC frameworks.
  • Experience managing licensing applications for regulated financial services.
  • Prior experience working in fintech, digital assets, or high-growth tech companies.
