What you will do

  • Design and assemble electrical control systems and control panels (< 480V) for packaging machinery.
  • Specify and configure Allen-Bradley hardware, including Motor Control Centers, VFDs, IO cards, and power supplies.
  • Develop integrated control systems using central PLCs networked to Remote IO Panels.
  • Design pneumatic systems and specify components such as filters, regulators, and valves.
  • Create technical documentation and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Debug and commission industrial control systems following installation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with an OEM in the Pulp and Paper or Food and Dairy industries.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Green Bay, WI.
  • Expertise in applying the National Electrical Code (NEC) in industrial environments.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and knowledge of UL requirements for Industrial Control Panels.
  • Two-year degree in an electrical technology field or equivalent pertinent experience.
  • Ability to travel typically less than 25%.
