What you will do

• Collaborate with customers to develop and implement custom test plans or follow existing procedures.
• Simulate environmental conditions to perform load tests, pressure tests, and product life cycle testing.
• Perform destructive evaluation tests both in the lab and in the field.
• Identify and apply appropriate test specifications such as ASTM, SAE, and ISO.
• Generate comprehensive technical test reports based on findings.
• Coordinate with technicians and machinists on large-scale projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Marietta, GA or Colorado Springs, CO.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with power/hand tools and measuring tools.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with machining and fabrication processes.
• Ability to program simple PLC executions.
