is an employee-owned company specializing in infrastructure, renewable energy, and heavy civil construction across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic US.
What you will do
- Partner with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies supporting long-term growth objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
- Direct the development of enterprise financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial models.
- Oversee treasury management, capital expenditure analysis, and strategic capital allocation planning.
- Provide financial insights and presentations to the Executive team, Senior Management, and the Board.
- Supervise and mentor the Senior Analyst while scaling the company's M&A function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Director-level or senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions (sourcing, valuation, and integration).
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in Orono, Maine.
Nice to have
- MBA, CFA, or other advanced financial credentials.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, heavy civil, or contractor industries.
- Experience working with employee-owned companies (ESOPs).
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
