What you will do
- Manage monthly closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis for assigned accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with purchasing teams and managing customer collections and disputes.
- Execute the POC/EAC governance process, reviewing contract values, costs, and margins for major programs.
- Lead the monthly forecasting and budgeting process for the facility and related divisions.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits and investigate cash variances.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in financial close processes and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and advanced Excel skills.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or political asylee) to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
