What you will do

• Drive the technical direction of offerings across the Sponsored Products organization.
• Design, code, and support scalable ML pipelines and online serving systems.
• Collaborate with applied scientists to optimize ML model performance and infrastructure.
• Own end-to-end implementations of AI solutions serving hundreds of millions of customers.
• Lead technical vision, identifying problems and developing data-backed solutions.
• Partner with Product, UX, and QA teams to deliver customer-centric products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the full SDLC, including coding standards and operations.
• 2+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems using Java, C++, C#, or Perl.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.
• Must be based in Seattle, WA, USA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of LLM fundamentals, transformer architecture, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, or TensorRT.
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure for ads ranking or personalization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
