Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid: 3x a week in-office)

Salary: $219,000–$329,000 + equity

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of 5-8 software engineers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• Own the delivery and execution of the integrations roadmap, balancing new platform capabilities with reliability and technical debt.
• Act as a player-coach, contributing to architecture reviews, technical proposals, and prototyping.
• Guide the incremental migration to a next-generation integrations platform, managing scope and risk.
• Drive operational excellence via SLO-based monitoring, incident response, and blameless retrospectives.
• Champion AI-assisted software development practices using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.

Requirements

• Experience leading software engineering teams as a people manager with a strong hands-on IC background.
• Expertise in backend, distributed, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, webhooks, and AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS).
• Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience managing complex platform projects and stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce (NPC, NPSP, Experience Cloud) and CRM ecosystems.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration technologies such as Temporal or Cadence.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (Zapier, Workato) and PHP/Laravel environments.
• Experience leading teams through large-scale re-platforming or migrations.
