What you will do

• Oversee rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 fiber optic cable manufacturing plant.
• Deliver production objectives and make quality decisions on shift.
• Execute shift operations plans, focusing on ware movement and production priorities.
• Manage staffing resources, the MRR queue, and evaluate operator performance.
• Lead end-of-shift turnover meetings and serve as a first responder/evacuation team leader.
• Ensure all products meet Quality Management Systems and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Claremont, NC
• HS Diploma or equivalent (required); AS Degree (preferred).
• At least two (2) years of progressive management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Management experience in the optical fiber cabling industry (preferred).
• Basic computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
