What you will do

• Oversee all on-site activity on active project job sites, addressing issues to meet quality and timeline standards.
• Lead and delegate tasks to multiple install crews, subcontractors, and union trades; regularly lead a team on large projects.
• Supervise physical installation of technology across varied locations and maintain jobsite quality control, resolving discrepancies.
• Read and apply functional design drawings and cable riser diagrams; build and wire custom panels from engineering drawings.
• Perform advanced fiber optic cable handling, installation termination, and testing; diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Track and maintain toolkits, job material boxes, vehicles, inventories, licenses/certifications, and maintain daily time and activity logs.

Requirements

• AVIXA CTS Certification is required; AVIXA CTS-I is highly encouraged.
• OSHA 30 Certificate required (NYC OSHA30 preferred).
• Five or more years as an installation technician or related industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with insurance requirements.
• Familiarity with audio, video, and networking equipment; knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts.
• Ability to read functional design drawings and cable riser diagrams; strong communication and customer service skills.
