What you will do

• Manage daily operations of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of residential, business, and central office services, including splicing activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors to resolve issues during construction and maintenance.
• Train, coach, and develop employees regarding new processes, quality standards, and safety.
• Lead a team of technicians to ensure they meet attendance and performance standards.
• Collaborate with the union to maintain a positive and productive working relationship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment.
• Strong experience in employee development and coaching within a union environment.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of residential/business installation, Local Network processes, and splicing/construction processes.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Rocky Mount, NC.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience managing teams in a telecom technical environment.
• 2+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of POTS and HSI.
