What you will do
- Execute end-to-end payroll across active entities including US multi-state, UK PAYE, Canada, Singapore, and UAE.
- Coordinate with EOR providers to validate invoices against actuals and create auditable workflows.
- Support the finance team with GL journals, month-end reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Manage processing for variable compensation, including timing, accuracy, and correct tax withholding.
- Lead new country setup for payroll operations, covering systems configuration and testing.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding payroll questions, tax situations, and equity withholding.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of payroll experience, ideally in a high-growth global technology company.
- Experience with Rippling Payroll.
- Strong command of US multi-state payroll and state-specific compliance.
- International payroll experience across at least two of: UK, Canada, Singapore, or UAE.
- Experience managing EOR and third-party payroll vendors.
- Analytical rigor, high accuracy, and strong documentation habits.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with equity compensation tax and withholding (RSUs, options).
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting global entity setup and new-country payroll launches.
- Background in payroll accounting fundamentals (GL journals, month-end reconciliations).
