TL;DR
Sales and Business Development (IoT): Driving new client acquisition and account growth for engineering services with an accent on connected devices and B2B partnerships. Focus on translating technical capabilities into business value for C-suite executives and navigating complex service agreements.
Location: Remote (Mainland US, excluding Western states). Frequent travel (at least twice a month) within the territory is required.
Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 base salary per year + competitive commission structure.

What you will do
- Identify and target high-potential clients across verticals like Consumer Electronics, MedTech, and Automotive.
- Leverage strategic partnerships with semiconductor platform providers and contract manufacturers to generate leads.
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients to uncover new technical challenges and propose tailored solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery and negotiation to closing complex service agreements.
- Act as the voice of the customer to align internal engineering and delivery teams with client expectations.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Mainland US, excluding Western states.
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development for engineering services or complex technical solutions.
- Ability to travel frequently (at least twice a month) to meet clients and partners.
- Ability to discuss connected devices, IoT, and software/hardware product lifecycles effectively.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for interacting with C-suite executives.

- Engineering degree.
- Familiarity with the product realization lifecycle from ideation to mass production.
