Engineering Manager (Public Cloud)

Annual base salary: $184,000–$230,000 in New York

What you will do

• Lead a team of 3–6 engineers developing core public cloud and R&D platform capabilities.
• Oversee work across security, communication tools, infrastructure provisioning, management, containerization, and service enablement.
• Deliver services for both customer-private and service-based form factors across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Influence platform and product definition, technical architecture, engineering quality, and project delivery practices.
• Mentor and coach engineers while collaborating with product, data science, and engineering teams across geographies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years of related management experience.
• Experience in technical leadership or people management, or demonstrated readiness to transition into people management.
• Strong public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including security, infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and service enablement.
• Advanced Java and Python programming skills, plus experience developing, deploying, and operationalizing production systems.
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, Docker or other container technologies, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and coaching skills.
