Group Strategy Director (E-commerce)

Location: Hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, Canada

Salary: $150,000 – $165,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Scale the eCommerce practice by defining strategic frameworks and methodologies.
• Oversee and mentor a team of eCommerce Strategy Directors and junior strategists.
• Partner with Creative and Account leads to develop boundary-pushing omnichannel strategies.
• Drive thought leadership and innovation across major retail platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
• Contribute directly to business development and client innovation initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in strategic approach and high-quality outputs across all client categories.

Requirements

• Proven experience in eCommerce strategy and leadership within an agency or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of major marketplaces and retail ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage high-performing strategy teams.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and client-facing leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto office (Hybrid).
