What you will do

• Lead and manage the EMEA commercial legal team, fostering professional development and high-quality support.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex legal issues and strategic contract negotiations.
• Serve as a strategic legal business partner to executive staff and revenue leadership.
• Initiate and manage strategic legal projects, including the development of scalable processes and regional templates.
• Ensure all contracting processes comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Negotiate complex strategic commercial deals while proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of in-house legal experience with a proven track record of managing teams handling complex commercial transactions.
• Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in the UK or at least one country in Europe.
• Significant experience in a legal leadership role within a high-growth software/technology company in the EMEA region.
• Expertise in data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, SaaS contracting, and EU regulations (GDPR, DORA, NIS2, EU Data Act, EU AI Act).
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
