TL;DR

Commercial Paralegal (Fintech): Managing day-to-day contract operations and legal reviews for a regulated banking platform with an accent on commercial contract negotiation and risk management. Location: Must be based in the UK (Remote or hybrid in London).

Salary: Up to £45,000.

What you will do

  • Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including customer agreements, supplier contracts, and NDAs.
  • Provide clear, commercially-minded legal and risk advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer terms and conditions align with embedded banking flow-down requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end caseloads from instruction to completion.
  • Maintain and own the contract and NDA database.
  • Develop legal templates, playbooks, and internal processes to support business scaling.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK.
  • Solid experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • In-house experience or a clear understanding of internal legal functions.
  • Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and managing negotiations.
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity and readability.
  • Interest in banking or SaaS business models.

Nice to have

  • Experience advising on and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Experience working within a bank, fintech, payments business, or other regulated financial services organization.
  • Keen interest in streamlining legal processes.
