Data Center Superintendent

What you will do

• Manage daily on-site operations, including subcontractor coordination and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor and enforce project schedules to ensure critical path milestones are met.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks related to quality, safety, and schedule slippage.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including field reports, RFIs, and change orders.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure code compliance and facilitate necessary inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction supervision with projects exceeding $10M+.
• 5 years of experience focused on data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• In-depth understanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and cabling infrastructure.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and quality management tools (Procore or BIM 360).
• Must be able to work on-site and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or Engineering.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, or CQC certification (USACE/NAVFAC).
