What you will do

• Coordinate with external engineering firms to review and issue project plans and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and provide technical guidance for civil and structural systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges and ensure constructability.
• Manage designs to ensure cost-effectiveness while meeting project life requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.
• Travel nationwide (approximately 33% of the time) for procurement and project-based site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
• Minimum of two years of progressive engineering or supervisory experience in heavy civil, industrial, or power generation industries.
• Must be able to travel nationwide for project-based work.
• Working knowledge of building and structural codes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical personnel.

Nice to have

• Experience in surveying.
• Experience focused on renewable energy projects.
