What you will do

• Build, configure, install, and deploy laptops, desktops, and peripherals using corporate standard images.
• Manage equipment shipments, returns, packing, and secure hardware preparation for decommissioning or surplus.
• Maintain accurate real-time inventory records for computers, components, and peripherals.
• Define hardware standards, policies, best practices, and documentation processes as a subject matter expert.
• Escalate and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for PC support specialists and end users.
• Provide IT management with data and recommendations on hardware selection, performance, and replacement cycles.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least one year of full-time professional IT experience with strong hardware and software fundamentals.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including regularly lifting more than 40 pounds and packing and shipping hardware.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to guide peers and end users.
• Strong attention to detail and organized, logistics-minded working practices.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator certification.
