Welder And Fabrication Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, CA (Onsite role)

Salary: $30 – $42 per hour

What you will do

• Establish and set up the hirify.global development shop, including equipment selection.
• Perform high-quality Class A TIG and MIG welding on specialized components.
• Process sheet metal using water jet cutting and various machine tools.
• Operate fabrication equipment including CNC press brakes, shears, mills, and lathes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and program progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Class A TIG/MIG welding and thin sheet metal.
• 5+ years of experience with sheet metal fabrication and forming.
• Strong proficiency in GD&T tolerances and technical drawing interpretation.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
