What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives in material development for fuels, fluids, and lubricants.
• Oversee complex research and development projects to ensure timely execution.
• Provide expert guidance on material selection, testing, and performance analysis.
• Implement robust quality control processes to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience.
• DFSS Black Belt Certification.
• Understanding of API, dexos, dexron, and dexcool approval processes.
