What you will do

• Lead and direct the gear processing team in process maintenance and development for hypoid ring and pinion gears.
• Develop and maintain CNC programs for pinion and ring blanking, including tool and work-holding selection and design.
• Collaborate with plant departments (maintenance, automation, operations) and the Corporate Manufacturing Group to achieve production goals.
• Implement best practices to improve safety, quality, and productivity through training, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Manage capital budgets, obtain vendor quotations, and coordinate program launches via APQP.
• Supervise and recruit Engineering Interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technology field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with proven CNC programming capability.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T standards.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and travel internationally on short notice.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a passport.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of face milling, face-hobbing, grinding, turning, and heat treatment.
• Prior experience working with an organized labor force.
