Salary: $128,470 – $192,710

What you will do

• Lead research projects for the development and application of alloy and processing combinations.
• Establish project success criteria and manage technical challenges to meet deliverables.
• Develop and execute component performance validation plans.
• Coach project team resources and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in metallurgical specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with external labs and universities on research and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Mossville, IL.
• Proven project leadership and track record in delivering new technologies.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of heat treating procedures, ferrous alloys, and product testing strategies.

Nice to have

• Advanced engineering degree.
• Experience in product or technology development.
• Familiarity with modeling tools such as ThermoCalc or JMatPro.
