What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, managing performance and career development plans.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical projects to meet quality, timeline, and budget targets.
• Supervise the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with product management, electrical, and software teams to ensure design alignment with product goals.
• Manage the department budget and ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and system integration.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor technical teams.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Lakewood, CO.
