What you will do
- Provide hands-on IT support across various school sites in Havering and nearby areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, networks, and cloud services.
- Assist engineering teams with projects including network, Wi-Fi, and cloud solution installations.
- Support 1st and 2nd line service desk functions to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with school staff and stakeholders.
- Deliver services in accordance with established service level agreements.
Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in Romford and travel between school sites.
- Previous experience in customer service and technical support.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop environments, cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google, Apple), and network management.
- Understanding of ITIL environments and service level agreements.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills if gaps exist.
