TL;DR

Market Development Representative (Sales): Engaging and converting inbound leads into new sales opportunities for the SMB Sales Team with an accent on consistent outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn. Focus on booking qualified product demonstrations, conducting thorough discovery, and managing lead pipelines to achieve key performance indicators.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY; role is 100% onsite (5 days a week)

Salary: $65,000 base + $27,500 variable commission (on-target earnings)

What you will do

  • Engage warm inbound leads through consistent outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Book qualified product demonstrations for the SMB Sales Team.
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand prospect needs and business priorities.
  • Utilize the internal tool stack to manage lead pipelines and maintain accurate records.
  • Achieve outlined goals and key performance indicators while providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Participate in company initiatives and complete assigned training programs.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a competitive, team-oriented spirit.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and fearless curiosity.

Nice to have

  • Prior sales internship experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or LeanData.
  • Interest in the capital markets industry.
