Federal Marketing Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in Boston, MA or the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)

What you will do

• Coordinate presence at key public sector events such as RSAC Public Sector Day, GEOINT, and Billington CyberSecurity Summit.
• Partner with subject matter experts to develop federal and SLED-specific content including case studies, briefing decks, and thought leadership.
• Enable the public sector sales team with battle cards, capture support materials, and competitive talk tracks.
• Contribute marketing content for RFI/RFP responses, capability statements, and past performance materials.
• Align marketing activities with federal contract vehicles like GSA, SEWP, and OTAs.
• Track event ROI, content engagement, and pipeline influence across public sector segments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant marketing experience in a high-growth environment.
• Proven experience in federal, defense, or government contractor marketing.
• Deep understanding of the public sector ecosystem, procurement rhythms, and compliance considerations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate complex commercial narratives into language resonating with government security and HR stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with state and local government (SLED) marketing.
• Existing relationships with federal, state, or local security, HR, or force protection communities.
• Familiarity with security clearance processes.
