What you will do

• Manage day-to-day distribution operations at the client site.
• Develop and implement systems for inventory control, receiving, handling, and storage.
• Collaborate with system leadership to execute supply chain initiatives and align goals with hospital objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with hospital executives, department heads, and suppliers.
• Develop cost-reduction programs and asset management strategies to support financial goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff regarding supply chain best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of applicable experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be able to work onsite in The Bronx, NY.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with hospital executives and staff.
• Ability to work in a collaborative business environment with varying interruptions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare supply chain information systems.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and statistical control.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
