TL;DR

Director, Critical Spares & Lifecycle Supply Chain (Logistics): Leading the strategy, governance, and execution model for critical spare parts across the North America data center portfolio with an accent on operational resilience and uptime. Focus on building a standardized, data-driven operating model, optimizing inventory levels, and managing OEM/supplier performance.

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO (3 days in-office)

Salary: $205,000 - $240,000

What you will do

  • Develop and lead the North America critical spares strategy, including governance, regional support models, and lifecycle planning.
  • Build 12-18 month demand forecasts and optimize inventory levels using min/max and safety stock methodologies to balance risk and capital.
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement to manage OEM and distributor performance, SLAs, warranty terms, and emergency response expectations.
  • Establish inventory control standards, cycle count routines, and data accuracy within ERP/CMMS and ServiceNow systems.
  • Define emergency fulfillment protocols and escalation paths to ensure 24/7 operational readiness for incident response.
  • Lead a high-performing team and influence cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, and Site Operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory, or mission-critical infrastructure operations.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or cross-functional operating models.
  • Experience supporting data centers, utilities, or similar uptime-sensitive environments.
  • Strong proficiency in demand planning, inventory optimization, and spare parts lifecycle management.
  • Experience with ERP, CMMS, WMS, or ServiceNow systems.
  • Ability to travel across North America as required to support site readiness and supplier engagement.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Expertise in data center-specific infrastructure (UPS, generators, cooling, and power systems).
  • APICS/ASCM, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or ITIL certifications.
  • Experience building a critical spares program or inventory governance model from the ground up.
