Systems Engineer (Data Intelligence & Analytics)

Systems Engineer (Go/Clickhouse): Building internal data application tools and frameworks to empower internal teams with an accent on scalability, observability, and reliability. Focus on designing key features for internal applications and maintaining high-performance data pipelines.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX

What you will do

• Design and implement key features for internal data applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve critical business problems.
• Enhance platform architecture for improved scalability, observability, and reliability.
• Maintain data pipelines written in Go.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and provide mentorship to the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, specifically GitLab CI.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Austin office in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container-based deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud providers.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
