Architect, Professional Services (Microsoft Security)

Location: Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver, Canada

Salary: CAD 120,800–151,000 annually, plus 14% incentives.

What you will do

• Design and deliver identity management and workplace security solutions aligned with client requirements and timelines.
• Lead technical engagements covering upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancements, administration, policy development, and user training.
• Apply Microsoft cloud security technologies including M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
• Coordinate with internal teams, end users, and Microsoft representatives on Microsoft Teams installation, configuration, and troubleshooting under contract SLAs.
• Facilitate technical workshops and support complex solution and service deployments for enterprise and public sector clients.
• Mentor consultants, engineers, and technicians while supporting technical events, certifications, and knowledge development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10+ years of progressively senior related industry experience.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Current Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate and Security Administrator Associate certifications and training.
• Strong customer interaction, problem-solving, consulting, and technical solution delivery skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
