ASIC and Custom Silicon Sales Account Manager (Americas): Driving the identification, shaping, and conversion of custom silicon opportunities for strategic semiconductor customers with an accent on regional go-to-market strategy, executive relationships, and complex commercial pursuits. Focus on building opportunity pipelines, negotiating multi-year agreements, developing investment cases, and influencing custom ASIC portfolio and engagement models.
Location: On-site in Santa Clara, California, United States; other locations may be considered based on candidate fit and business need.
Annual salary: $215,180–$366,170 USD

What you will do
- Define regional strategies for identifying, prioritizing, pursuing, and converting custom ASIC opportunities.
- Build executive-level relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, automotive companies, communications companies, and other major silicon buyers.
- Lead complex, long-cycle sales pursuits covering customer discovery, solution definition, commercial negotiation, investment alignment, and business-case development.
- Partner with account teams and internal business units to shape competitive, scalable, and profitable custom silicon solutions.
- Develop opportunity pipelines, forecasting models, and governance processes for regional pursuits.
- Bring market ligence and customer feedback into strategic planning, portfolio decisions, roadmaps, and engagement models.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in semiconductor, ASIC, SoC, foundry, IP, or complex silicon solution sales.
- Strong business development and sales experience with foundries, custom silicon houses, and end customers.
- Experience with other Tier 1 ASIC builders, foundry services, or custom chip development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong semiconductor industry network and knowledge of the ASIC ecosystem.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; the position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- MBA or an advanced technical degree.
- Experience in custom ASIC, semi-custom silicon, foundry services, design services, or silicon commercialization.
- Experience with hyperscale, cloud, data center, networking, automotive, industrial, healthcare, edge computing, or high-performance computing customers.
- Knowledge of NRE structures, wafer supply, packaging, yield, roadmap alignment, and lifecycle support.
- Experience influencing C-level and SVP-level stakeholders and structuring large, multi-year agreements.
