TL;DR

Sales Engineer / Account Manager (Storage Test): Drive growth for storage product line through direct customer engagement with an accent on sales process, design-in opportunities, and new product promotion. Focus on identifying customer needs, providing technical direction to product roadmap, and assessing market penetration for competitive advantage.

Location: North Reading, MA; Agoura Hills, CA; Austin, TX (US only). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Up to 50% travel (domestic and international).

Salary: $87,600–$140,100 base (varies by experience, location, demand) + discretionary bonus + sales incentive.

What you will do

  • Engage in sales process, design-in opportunities, and customer-facing activities for storage product line.
  • Identify short-term and long-term customer needs.
  • Provide technical direction to product roadmap and communicate feedback internally.
  • Develop marketing tools for product introductions.
  • Assess market penetration, product positioning, competitive activity, and market research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computing or Systems Engineering (or equivalent) + strong business background; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in capital equipment, electronics sales, or electronic test.
  • Technical knowledge of test equipment (e.g., as product, test, or applications engineer).
  • Demonstrated customer credibility, relationship building, and cross-department collaboration (sales, engineering, finance).
  • Strong communication, organizational, multi-tasking, strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Must carry auto liability insurance; up to 50% travel.
