What you will do

• Design and build Python/FastAPI services and APIs powering AI products.
• Contribute to the React/TypeScript frontend to implement feature UIs.
• Own complex, multi-month projects from initial idea through to launch.
• Build and ship real products end-to-end with a strong product mindset.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building web applications at scale.
• Deep expertise in Python backend (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
• Comfort contributing to React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York or Toronto.
• Proven 0-to-1 product experience and strong technical leadership instincts.

Nice to have

• AI-native product experience and exposure to LLM/prompt engineering.
• Background working in startups.
• Experience with cloud or event-driven architecture.
