What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable backend services for subscription lifecycles, usage aggregation, and payment processing.
• Lead complex technical efforts end-to-end from requirements decomposition to production rollout.
• Provide architectural direction and establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and observability.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical billing components and resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive technical design decisions for new capabilities such as usage-based billing models and reconciliation pipelines.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade backend systems.
• Deep professional expertise in Java.
• Strong experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka or equivalent messaging brokers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python or other modern languages.
• Exposure to Salesforce or similar large CRM systems.
• Familiarity with API-first development and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Experience with complex third-party product integrations.
