What you will do

• Design and deliver reliable software solutions for flight booking services using API design and data modeling.
• Own technical execution of complex initiatives, breaking down ambiguous problems into scalable solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions to ensure maintainability, performance, and security in production environments.
• Partner with product and cross-functional stakeholders to improve development efficiency.
• Improve operational excellence by monitoring service health and strengthening observability.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of services within a domain, including delivery and operational performance.
• Strong fundamentals in coding, low-level system design, API design, and secure development.
• Experience with distributed systems or service-oriented architectures.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, and SQS.
• Background in e-commerce or high-availability transactional systems.
