What you will do

• Plan and execute end-to-end internal audit activities, from planning through report issuance and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop and maintain the Annual Audit Plan based on risk assessments and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits across ITGC, cybersecurity, data governance, financial products, and business operations.
• Assess the internal control environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Partner with business, technology, product, and risk teams to define and monitor action plans.
• Implement data analytics and AI-driven methodologies to enable continuous monitoring and intelligence-driven audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or IT.
• Solid experience in internal audit or risk management within fintechs or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven ability to independently lead audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Familiarity with IIA Standards, COSO, COBIT, ITIL, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Advanced English and fluency in Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRMA, or CPA.
• Experience with cloud environments, DevOps, and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Background in building or transforming an internal audit function from scratch.
• Experience applying process mining, data analytics, or AI-enabled audit techniques.
