TL;DR

Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst (Fintech): Performing enhanced due diligence on complex and higher-risk customers within the Operational Risk team with an accent on fraud prevention and regulatory compliance. Focus on leading investigations, improving due-diligence processes, and ensuring traceability in high-risk industry reviews.

Salary: €62,100 — €69,900 EUR

What you will do

  • Perform EDD on customers across high-risk industries, including reviews of export control and licensing regulations.
  • Improve due-diligence processes, documentation, and supporting systems to ensure clarity and traceability.
  • Assist with regulatory changes and participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business partners, and second-line control functions.
  • Lead continuous improvement of tooling, SOPs, and policies.
  • Prepare data-driven internal management reports and contribute to specialist training.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in operational risk, compliance, KYC/AML, and sanctions screening within financial services or fintech.
  • Proven experience performing EDD checks during both onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
  • Ability to summarize complex information and present recommendations to decision-makers.
  • Experience leading investigations and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ability to lead projects independently and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Fluent in English

  • Relevant AML certification (e.g., ACAMS).
