What you will do

• Design and maintain high-quality embedded software for spacecraft and ground-based satellite systems.
• Implement secure communication capabilities including encryption, authentication, and key exchange.
• Develop low-level components such as device drivers, kernel modules, and hardware interfaces.
• Create automated tests and validation tools to ensure robust software delivery.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and cross-functional system integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in embedded software development for high-reliability systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including concurrency and hardware communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments (e.g., Yocto, FreeRTOS).
• Strong background in developing low-level Linux components like kernel modules and device trees.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and hardware/software integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in aerospace applications or embedded security (HSMs, secure boot).
• Familiarity with Linux networking, multi-stage bootloaders, or RTL (Verilog/VHDL).
