TL;DR

Director, New Business Development (AdTech): Driving revenue growth by expanding NIQ’s footprint within media agencies through strategic sales of audience data and measurement solutions. Focus on prospecting, building long-term client relationships, and negotiating complex multi-year contracts to meet aggressive sales quotas.

Location: Must be based in the NYC Metropolitan area or Greater Chicago. Role is remote but requires regular travel for client meetings.

Salary: $93,800 – $170,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities specifically within media and social agencies.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to align NIQ solutions with client business challenges.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Negotiate annual and multi-year contracts to maximize renewal rates and growth.
  • Deliver educational presentations to clients regarding NIQ capabilities and data resources.
  • Collaborate with internal Product and Customer Success teams to ensure long-term account satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development or sales within media agencies, ad tech, or data analytics.
  • Established professional contacts within Media and Social Agencies.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, audience data, and media buying processes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with large enterprise clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Must be based in the NYC Metropolitan area or Greater Chicago.
