TL;DR

Director of Sales (B2B Events): Leading comprehensive revenue growth initiatives for large-scale B2B events with an accent on new business acquisition, account expansion, and strategic team mentorship. Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Irving, TX office (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 base plus commission

What you will do

  • Develop and implement integrated sales strategies to drive acquisition, retention, and account expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on both new business and account management.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities while maximizing wallet share within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns and create tailored solutions for key demographics.
  • Oversee sales pipeline accuracy, CRM data management, and performance reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events and nurture strategic partnerships to accelerate revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Irving, TX or willing to commute to the office 3+ days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience including business development, account management, and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in media, sponsorship, or B2B events.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events.
